One consumer of Bucharest, who brought up a number of legal actions against the bank he had taken a loan in CHF secured by mortgage from, has managed to have his case resolved with the Alternative Banking Dispute Resolution Centre, without a lawyer and paying nothing. He took the loan in 2008 and has been fighting the bank in court for two years. He learned about ABDRC, filed an application and had his problem solved in 2 months. (more…)

October has been the best month since establishment of the Alternative Banking Dispute Resolution Centre in terms of the number of applications received and casefiles formed, that is accepted by traders to be resolved via ABDRC.

The dispute between a family of Slatina, county of Olt, and the bank they had contracted a personal loan in EUR from was amicably settled in only one day. These consumers filed an application with the Alternative Banking Dispute Resolution Centre to have the management fee removed.

COLLABORATION OF ABDRC WITH THE CONSUMER ASSOCIATIONS

Subsequent to the endeavour it has been pursuing, meaning to continue deploying efforts to provide the consumers of financial services with information, the Alternative Banking Dispute Resolution Center (ABDRC) understood that one of the most efficient solutions in this respect is collaboration with the consumer associations.

A DISPUTE RESOLVED IN JUST 8 DAYS

With the aid ABDRC, a consumer of Bucharest managed to reach an amicable settlement with the bank the first had contracted a personal loan in EUR from in just 8 days. This consumer claimed provision of the risk fee in the loan agreement, which was then turned into the management fee, of EUR 56 of the monthly instalment. The bank returned him close to EUR 1,800, which was enough to pay off the loan. (more…)
