Press Release 23.08.2016: ALL-TIME RECORD FOR ABDRC A DISPUTE RESOLVED ONLINE IN JUST 17 DAYS

The dispute between a consumer of Botosani and the bank she had taken a loan from was settled amicably in just 17 days (the conciliator was assigned on 25 July, and the resolution was rendered on 10 August).
The entire exchange of documents and information was online, and thus the customer did not have to travel to Bucharest. The customer was a lady from Botosani who approached the Alternative Banking Dispute Resolution Center to get help in her relation with the bank. Further to the ADR procedure with proposed solution, her monthly instalment was reduced by close to EUR 100 (from EUR 330 down to EUR 234), the management fee was removed from the loan agreement, and the consumer of Botosani additionally received a EUR 800 compensation from the bank.
