While most of the applications regard loans, installments and fees, the Alternative Banking Dispute Resolution Centre (ABDRC) tackles a wide range of issues you might encounter in your relations with financial and banking institutions. From booking of a holiday to money allocated under the programmes funded from European funds, ABDRC proposes solutions to the most diverse requests.<\/p>\n

\"\"This year, ABDRC managed highly diverse cases, such as:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Booking of a holiday gave headaches to a client: his account was debited despite having been informed by the booking website that his card was not valid. The bank he had his card with returned him the entire amount paid.<\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. For those who make online purchases on a regular basis, the exchange range difference between the time of payment and the time when payments are processed <\/strong>may be claimed back from the bank via ABDRC. Many clients claimed back from banks these differences.<\/li>\n
  3. There are casefiles of clients who applied for datio in solutum.<\/em><\/strong> Their intention was to negotiate with banks, via ABDRC, so as to keep their apartments.<\/li>\n
  4. A consumer from Maramure\u0219 asked us to help him to have amounts released <\/strong>by the Agricultural Payment and Intervention Agency. The proposed solution was the release of these amounts.<\/li>\n
  5. Last but not least, a number of consumers, having filed an application via ABDRC, have been erased <\/strong>by traders the data wrongly entered in the Credit Register<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    So, you can approach ABDRC in many instances: seized amounts exempted from forced execution (for instance, amounts disbursed under programmes funded from European funds); wrong payments or problems with bank transfers; deposits terminated before maturity or other problems in connection with bank deposits; instances in connection with bank assurance or credit cards.<\/p>\n

    ABDRC has become a solution for increasingly more Romanians in the first six months of the year, as the number of those who had their disagreements with banks or NBFIs addressed through the Centre increased by more than 12 times<\/strong>, up to 188. During the same period, ABDRC received 544 compliant conciliation applications, <\/strong>that is 3.5 times more than the same period of last year.<\/p>\n
